Looks like the weight of the captain's job is sitting heavily on his shoulders- another "double" loss for him, and a heavy defeat for the Landlord at the hands of their best player, meant another 3-3 draw for Bear A. At least we didn't lose !
The match fixing panel are investigating the CAT's mysterious loss to The Plough, and an irregular betting pattern that has been traced back to an infamous pub in Didcot. Each way betting has now been suspended.
B Team are still AWOL so don't know how badly they lost.
PS We were all nice to Dave last night.........

I've heard a rumour the B team won -is this really true ?
It's TRUE they did win....
"Bear at Home beat Horse & Harrow 4-2 in shock away win"- read all about it in next weeks paper........
The Cat 53
..........................
The Coach & Horses 45
the Bear at Home 44
The Crown 43
Waterwitch 41
Its down to week 14 to find the runners up. Still anyones!
though the 6-0 Coach Vs Witch match(1 man showed - so result stands)looks to have had a big say in it.
(My turn to sit out next week, so my singles season is over)
Good luck all.
the Cat won the league :o
It must of been the 'miracle' they required!!!
Coach and Horses look favourites for 2nd to me.
Coach look favourites for 2nd, agree.
But how will the Crown and the Bear feel if it is because of the 6-0 win they had over the Witch and either miss out by the odd point or two. It was the only win awarded in the division this season because of shortage of players.
The only fair way is for the committee to insist the Coach v Witch game is re played. Anyone else agree?
Computer says
'No'
Well it seems that a Coach & Horses vs Waterwitch replay would only benifit the Witch; as they would of only needed 2 points to finish 2nd
only themselves to blame...
All the B team need is a captain who can afford to have some credits on his phone, knows when & where games are being played, can put together a team and can be arsed to turn up occasionaly.
