Only 2 days to go till our first game at the Queens Arms in Didcot so get the darts out boys and get the arm in practice. Email or call me if you need a lift so we can work out transport etc. The skip is hoping for good things this season !
Re The Bear at Home darts challenge cup, the ladder is up in the pub and you should all receive an envelope with instructions and phone numbers soon, If you dont get your copy, ask the landlord as we will leave them behind the bar on Thursday night.
Each registered player must play ALL the players listed on the chart. You must play ALL 5 legs (501 flying start, double out) and record the score using 1 point for each leg.
It's up to you to arrange you own match, these can be played at the discretion of the landlord (please phone to check availability of the board) Sunday nights or after the game on Thursdays are usually ok.
All games MUST be played by Sunday 19th August
The top 4 players go into a semi final (semis and Final 30th August)
A poor start to the summer season as we left to go off to the Queens Arms only 4 players seemed to have remembered the season had started!Well done to Ken who won his singles and to Tim and Monty who won their doubles. The skip had a dismal night loosing his singles game and his doubles with Ken has this served as a wake up call? we will wait and see. As for the absentees Thursdays nights are darts nights; not football or beer and blues so Geoff and Wally consider yourselves told! See you all on Thursday home against The Waterwitch.
